Metanoia (Franciscan University of Steubenville) Metanoia is a video series produced by the Franciscans promoting a greater knowledge and acceptance of Christ and the Holy Spirit into the believer's life and faith. Metanoia comprises 10, 30 minute sessions focusing on the intial act of faith by the believer. It is free online or can be purchsed on DVD. Metanoia is part one of the two part Wild Goose series. The ministry does request donations from those who use their programs.
Documentary on St Joseph (Knights of Columbus) Pope Francis has proclaim the Year of St Joseph. There has not been very much ionformation on him in the past but now the Knights have provided us with a documentary and much more to deepen our knowledge about the foster father of Jesus.
The Chosen (PluggedIn Online) This series on the life and ministry of Jesus is different. It tells the story of Jesus with a broad brush. Although there is no Biblical evidence for some of the story line, the series offers a backstory on some of the main characters in the four Gospels who are either Jesus' disciples or those in power at the time. The series is available FREE on The Chosen app in hour-long episodes: thechosen.tv.com. It is very different than the normal medias presentation of the life of Christ, but that is what makes it so attractive for many. It might not be for the younger kids because of its realistic presentation of life in Palestine at that time, but might be very inspirational for the older kids and parents.
